SmartCityX is a global open innovation program organized by Scrum Ventures. The aim is to accelerate the study of business co-creation between Japanese large corporations and overseas startups. All the actors are working towards making cities more livable, resilient, and sustainable.

A hundred startups have been selected from all over the world, including Heuristech, that has been competing in the “Energy, Resource & Sustainability” category.

Among the iconic Japanese corporate brands and industry thought-leaders that are participating in this program, there are Sekisui Chemicals, Idemitsu Kosan, Shibuya City, Fukui Prefecture, and The Osaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry. We hope to collaborate with them and set up a demonstration on Japanese territory!
