In January 2024, our team embarked on a journey to Hong Kong and Shenzhen to engage with all the key players in the district cooling industry, carefully selected through a collaborative study with the French CCI (Chamber of Commerce and Industry). We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to their teams for their invaluable support during those business meetings.

Exploring Opportunities

At Heuristech, we understand the importance of forging strong partnerships to drive innovation and progress. Our meetings with entities such as the Electrical and Mechanical Services Department (EMSD) and the Hong Kong Polytechnic University underscored our commitment to collaborating with regulators and academic institutions to advance our shared goals.

Of course, we also love the field! We were thrilled to visit great district cooling facilities in Hong Kong, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen-Qianhai, where Plant Nr5 stands as one of the largest in the world! These interactions provided valuable insights into the unique challenges and opportunities present in the district cooling industry, laying the groundwork for future collaborations.

Looking Ahead

2024, year of the Dragon, holds immense promise for deepening our collaborations with these organizations. We are eager to showcase the capabilities of our DRM technology through hands-on demonstrations and pilot projects. This aligns with Hong Kong and Shenzhen’s carbon neutrality goals, where district cooling has to play a pivotal role.
