On May 3, 2023, the annual meeting of CEFRACOR (Centre Français de l’Anticorrosion) took place at the Maison de la Chimie in Paris, gathering prominent figures from the pipeline sector, including major carriers operating in France such as GRTgaz, Air Liquide, Téréga, and Trapil. Among the attendees was Tristan DE SERVINS, CEO and CTO of Heuristech, co-inventor of the DRM (Differential Reflectometry Mapping) technology, who was invited to showcase the latest advancements from the Heuristech R&D department.

During the meeting, the team from Air Liquide shared their satisfaction with the results of a case study conducted in collaboration with Heuristech. The excavations carried out in October 2022 revealed the effectiveness of DRM in detecting coating disbondments, highlighting the technology’s unparalleled capabilities in identifying potential threats to pipeline integrity.

Following the successful presentation at the CEFRACOR annual meeting, Heuristech is now gearing up to conduct on-site demonstrations with four different French companies. These demonstrations will not only showcase the capabilities of DRM technology but also foster collaboration and knowledge-sharing within the industry, paving the way for further advancements in pipeline inspection and maintenance.
